IOI’s Research Lead, Dr Katherine Skinner, was recently at the OPERAS Conference 2024 in Zadar, Croatia. OPERAS is the research infrastructure that supports open scholarly communication in the social sciences and humanities (SSH) in the European Research Area. The April 24-26 conference had the theme of Opening collaboration for community-driven scholarly communication.
On April 26, 2024, Katherine gave a presentation on Infra Finder, IOI’s new tool for open infrastructure discovery. She gave an overview of the problems that IOI aimed to address in open scholarship that led to the development of Infra Finder and its utility for institutional decision-makers and other stakeholders, and provided a real-time demonstration of how the tool works for the participants of the session.
