IOI’s Sarah Lippincott will take part in a hands-on workshop exploring how open infrastructures can advance responsible research assessment. Drawing on the CoARA OI4RRA Working Group’s Open Infrastructure Checklist, Sarah will guide participants through applying the checklist to IOI’s Infra Finder—a discovery tool mapping over 90 open infrastructures. Her segment will focus on evaluating Infra Finder’s technical robustness, governance, sustainability, and ethical accountability, and gathering participant feedback to refine both the tool and the checklist. This interactive session will highlight how open infrastructure can turn principles of transparency, equity, and community-led governance into practical, actionable frameworks for institutions and funders.
