This October, Mike Roy (Dean of the Library, Middlebury College; IOI Steering Committee member) and I gave a webinar to the Oberlin Group about Investing in open infrastructure. This 1-hour session was open to Oberlin Group library directors and their staff, and the slides can be found here.

This talk highlighted the work of IOI, including sharing the findings of the Mapping the Scholarly Communication Infrastructure project and Census, funded by the Mellon Foundation. The Mapping project and Census were foundational pieces in shaping our understanding of the landscape and key elements in the creation of IOI.

The Oberlin Group of Libraries is an 80-member consortium of leading liberal arts colleges in the United States. Our thanks again to Scott Vine (Franklin & Marshall College), Mike Roy (Middlebury College), and the Oberlin Group for the opportunity.
