At Invest in Open Infrastructure (IOI), we believe that open and community-owned research infrastructure is necessary for research to thrive. In this invited talk, our Engagement Lead Emmy Tsang discussed our work in defining open infrastructure. She also shared some of the current issues in the research and education space that the IOI team has been thinking about, and why we should advocate for an increase in the investment in and adoption of open infrastructure.
